David Garlington is a licensed professional engineer and has worked as the city engineer and assistant public works director for the City of Sequim since April 2011. He was employed for 20 years with the Washington State Department of Transportation in Port Angeles prior to working for the city. He served as interim public works director since December 2014 until appointed in July of 2018 to fill the position.

Please join us to hear him speak regarding Sequim Resolution No. R-2018-03  which if approved would allow Sequim to keep the sales and use tax for the Transportation Benefit District for another 10 years.  Projects that have already taken place using the previously approved TBD tax include rehabilitated roads, new sidewalks and improved street lighting.

The meeting begins this Thursday, October 18th at noon at Baja Cantina on the corner of Washington and 5th.  Come at 11:45 am if you'd like to order lunch.  The meeting will conclude approximately 1:15 p.m.

If you can't join us in person but would like to participate please log into Go To Meeting and go to Sequim Rotary.
